• Based on my needs, I placed the extender on the second floor of my townhouse. I needed the push from the extender to provide more broadband access to the third floor.

• Hi, Rocky. The set up should work fine as long as the unit is placed on a spot where it gets an optimal signal from the main router/modem. You can utilize the spot Finder feature of the unit to look for the right spot.
