Not sure would it work in mexico. Every country have their cables laid out in certain style and adhere to specifications. I would suggest to purchase it locally in your area.

Internet is internet, this is a router not a modem! You are just linking to your modem. Your compatability ould be with that modem.

These are universal routers, however, I would say that it depends on your internet provider and the kind of service you’ve subscribed.
