Given the reply from Linksys Staff, I will no longer be purchasing their products. Cloud managed hardware without traditional options is a deal breaker for me. Bought my first Linksys switch over 20 years ago and it, like all of my other Linksys gear, still works the first time, every time. We had a good run too... thanks for the quick response.
I would recommend:
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes it can. While not obvious http to 192.168.1. when the first screen loads, click on the cell phone image and log in with admin. You're at the web based set up main menu..
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. If you go to the router interface webpage and click the image of the cell phone it should take you to the configuration page without having to use a phone app. Linksys appears to be trying hard to hide the feature, when you hover your mouse over the image the cursor won't change and there isn't a URL preview that you'd expect to see in the bottom corner of a web browser. See https://www.linksys.com/sg/support-article/?articleNum=316709 for more details.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a mr7500 and was able to setup the device bypassing the app (they hide the link). However, the traditional web gui you end up with is purposefully broken which makes doing anything useful next to impossible.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Hi. The Linksys MR9000 must be configure using the Linksys app, otherwise, the router is considered as not configured and may not work properly.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.
