I currently have a Netgear AC1750 modem/router. Do I keep this modem/router or do I need to get a new modem? The Velop setup instructions mention connection to the Internet port on the modem but by Netgear AC1750 only has ethernet ports. Thanks. null

If you have just Ethernet connections to your current router, then it is probably not a modem/router, a cable modem will have a coax connection going in and an Ethernet connection going out. Also, based on a quick search, the Netgear AC1750 is just a router. The LINKSYS VELOP AX5300 TRI-BAND MESH is a router/Firewall, so you can replace your current Netgear AC1750 with the LINKSYS VELOP AX5300, and you should not need a separate modem or other device. Double check with your ISP but based on what you are saying about your current setup, they type of connection you have does not use/need a modem.

Hi. You can keep your existing router. You can just connect the Velop device to its Ethernet port to get internet.
