You can plug in both but you will be building two separate wifi networks.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Rocky: I dont see any reason why you cannot plug ethernet cable directly to the node at 4 diffrent locations in your house. You can try and see if it boosts the speed and signal even more. From what I can tell you are trying to use the same concept of ethernet adapters instead you have your ethernet wired all over your house. I own two f these nodes and I keep one on each floors of my condo. The one on second floor is without ethernet. Just so you know one node is capable of travelling 3000 Sq ft. With two you can cover 6000 Sq ft. I would say experiment and see if it works for you.
