I have been using the Linksys E2500 for nearly four years now and YES, it will work thru more than two walls. In one case for me it was sending signal thru about 4 walls. So I guess it may depend on how thick or what material your walls are made of. For me, they were standard 3.5 inch wood studs with sheetrock both sides. .
