This is a really nice router!! I love the sleekness and the power it offers at a fraction of the price. Most people spend an arm and a leg on more expensive routers when really, they all work almost the same. Wanna save money? Go with this router! Premium and affordable.

This router replaced another Linksys router which gave me many years of good service. I was very impressed wiith the improvements in wireless security and how easy it was to take advantage of them. Installation was a breeze. My old router needed rabbit ears to broadcast the WIFI network. This one is more sensitive and has an internal antenna.

The price was the same as another major online retailer, so we decided to buy it in store without the wait of shipping. The set up was quick and easy. The speed if also good. the range is adequate, but not there are some areas of my townhouse were I only get half the amount of bars.

This is a good product at a decent price point. This is a mid-range device. It is not the fastest nor most expensive product available. But for personal use in my medium sized home, it works just fine. I've heard that the cheapest product available by this company also works well. However, I usually find that the mid-range gives the biggest bang for your buck. I have used this for one month without problems.

I am no tecchie by any means, so I had no idea I was supposed to replace/upgrade our routers every couple of years. After numerous calls to the internet provider with no success, I went to BestBuy to see if I could buy a booster to help with our speed issues and help with areas of our home lacking strong service. The customer service rep was very knowledgeable and asked when was the last time I replaced our router,- umm, never, (it was at least six years old). He advised us to get a new router and it would solve our issues. I was skeptical, but he was confident that it would solve our problems and he even told me to come back and see him if it didn't correct the issues. Well, he was right. With the kids tablets, five phones and our laptops, we have had great success with this router. We have a 5000 sq, ft home, and no issues anywhere with a weak connection - the signal is great everywhere.

This works great in our house which is 2,200 sq ft. The best thing is we do not need a range extender for this product. We have Smart TVs hooked into this device and everything looks great. Easy to set up - plug and play - no problems adding devices to the network.

This was a birthday gift for my niece who works from home. Needed something with good security, good speed, and easy to install & maintain. It's been an excellent router on all counts. Her household also uses it to stream video using a Roku 3 player, and it's worked great for that, too. The only problem so far has been she couldn't use the router's "guest network" on the Roku because the router requires the login to be entered via a built-in web page. Since the Roku device didn't support rendering webpages, the guest login could not be entered. Sure, the regular LAN password *could* be entered, but that made it possible for nosy guests to find the password by going back into the Roku's setup screen. (This wouldn't have been a problem if the Roku kept the password hidden.)

I bought this router simply because my neighbor was leeching my internet on my old router from 2004. He used a program to easily break through my password. I bought this Linksys Wireless-N router, and changed so as not to broadcast my SSID. I have several products from the makers of Linksys (Cisco), and I find they are a reliable company. The router is easy to install, it is compatible with all my devices: 3 smart phones, 1 laptop, 1 desktop, 1 printer and 1 AT&T 3G MicroCell. I have Charter high-speed internet, and I see no decrease in speed with one device running, or if all devices are running. I have a 2500 sq. ft. home on three acres, and I can connect wirelessly for a great distance in my yard, which is convenient. I would recommend this product to anyone.

This router is easy to setup! Follow the prompts on the disc that comes with it and you are set. I highly recommend to split your connections between both bands, remember this is dual band router and will work best if not all the devices are running of the same band which is the awesome part of owning a dual band! Faster speeds all around! Range is good on this unit we have a 1 story 4 bedroom house and have no problems connecting in each room including the outside perimeter. Must have unless you are running more than 6 devices or need the fastest connection possible, for that a AC1750 router would be best.

I have the fastest internet that charter offers (30 Mbps) and with my old router, I still didn't think that it was very fast. Well, that was because my router wasn't capable of performing at the speed I was paying for. The Lynksus allows my girlfriend and I too connect as many devices as we want without losing speed on any single device. At one point I was downloading at 3.7 MBps and still had a flawless four bar connection on my call of duty for xbox 360. And for those who don't know 1 MBps is equal to 8 Mbps, so pay attention to the "b" when looking at internet speed. Also, I topped out at 4.2 MBps download speed with just my pc connected (thats faster than what I'm paying for). Super simple setup, and great price for this level of performance.

I used to have an old Linksys wireless router that had to be reseted once in a while, and dropping or not delivering a good signal to one of our bedrooms, so I decided to get this one. The setup was very easy, it was just a matter of running the CD of the device, run a firmware update and follow the instructions. Once you have your network with a password it also give you the option to have a Guest access (the network looks like its open, but once you use you're browser to navigate it sends you to the router site where you have to enter a password to be able to navigate, useful when you have friends that want to access your network). The signal was strong enough that we didn't have any problems with streaming video from the device that we had on the bedroom and signal was still good outside the house. We had someone watching Netflix, someone using a laptop browsing the internet and someone playing games online in a console at the same time and nobody notice any problems or lag on their connections. I will definetly recommend this wireless router for someone that wants a good wifi signal in a small to medium size house.

There are four of us in a huge house that contains 4 smartphones (constantly on), 2 tablets, a wireless media player and 5 laptops...yeah we love our devices. But it's great, no sluggish performance and never a problem connecting to the Internet or when my daughter is on Skype, my wife and I can enjoy videos without any issue. If for some reason I have to work from home, I do not get any hindering in performance of our Internet connection. I recommend it especially for the reasonable price.

You can never go wrong with this product brand or the pricing offered by Best Buy. The minimal limitation for bandwidth and interference that an IT professional or heavy multiple device household found in this intermediate product offering greatly out weights the cost for higher level models. This does the job in a 2800 SQFT house with 7 wireless devices connected at all times. (This includes simultaneous usage of 3 TV’s streaming video, heavy online PS3 gaming and one constant social media user in our house.) Ease of use is the best part of this brand and model. For those of us with a significant other who is “technically challenged”, it is extremely easy for them to keep connectivity up and running so that the entire family is happy when I am at work or traveling.

Was easy to self-install !! I love that is has uncomplicated parental controls that are easy to change when I want to. Love how you can set restrictions on each device individually. Love that when the time is up, it cuts off the internet and that I do have the option to allow 1 more hour on that certain device without having to go to my laptop, sign in and change it there. I can enter the parental password straight on the device and it gives the user 1 more hour. Price was great and it gives me everything I was looking for for home network. Support online has been easy as well.

This is an excellent router for the money! Very easy to set-up and easy to use. I love that there is a Guest access passcode so that people can come in and connect without know our personal info. Also, due to many medical issues I am home streaming TV/Movies on Netflix, SteamPix, OnDemand a lot on my TV using my BluRay or Wii or on my iPad 4 or iPad 5 and this router provides great speed! The only thing I miss on it is that the lights are on the back instead of the front which is important when you're rebooting or having connection issues. Other than that we love it!

I was seeking a router that would accommodate my needs, including an appropriate speed, but that would not cost too much. This item was easy to install and was up and running in minimum time. I would recommend using this router to anyone needing one specifically for home usage. I did not keep the item as my Internet Service organization provided one when I upgraded to a higher internet speed line. It of course was not necessary to have two routers. Therefore, it was returned. Again, the product is very good and the service from Best Buy excellent.

I bought two of these to replace my old Linksys wrt56 routers when they died. I like that the setup interface is nearly identical to my old routers so manual setup was just a copy over of my old settings. They have a setup widget if you need that Range is great, I use one inside a metal building 100' long with the router on one end, - great signal.

Prior router constantly required we unplug and plug back up. Would be in the middle of work and could not get the router to reconnect. Someone from my work IT department suggested that I purchase this router. Since the Linksys set up have not had any problems with internet cutting out. Had a little difficulty in setting up but nothing major. Since it is kind of a necessity when working from home I would recommend this product to others. It did not cost a fortune and was easy to find at Best Buy.
