This router replaced another Linksys router which gave me many years of good service. I was very impressed wiith the improvements in wireless security and how easy it was to take advantage of them. Installation was a breeze. My old router needed rabbit ears to broadcast the WIFI network. This one is more sensitive and has an internal antenna.

This is a really nice router!! I love the sleekness and the power it offers at a fraction of the price. Most people spend an arm and a leg on more expensive routers when really, they all work almost the same. Wanna save money? Go with this router! Premium and affordable.

I purchased this to replace a dying Netgear router. Given that time was of the essence and cost was a significant factor, this seemed to be the best locally-available choice based on my budget. I will say that it's serving its purpose well enough and I have found a couple features quite helpful. Pros: It's inexpensive. It has decent range. I can get at least a usable signal from one end of the house to the other (3 bedroom house, ~1500 sq. ft.) with the router placed as centrally as possible. It has decent speed. It's not AC or even N900, but N600 is fast enough for the occasional transfer between devices. If I were doing more intra-network transferring, I'd probably hardwire as much as possible anyway. It's reliable so far. I haven't had it go down yet, but we'll see if that remains the case. The guest network is nice. I appreciate having a somewhat walled garden for friends to use that doesn't give them access to my actual network. Cons: No gigabit ethernet. I realize this was built to hit a price point just like every other product Cisco makes, but not including gigabit is disappointing. If I do decide to run ethernet in the future, I'll have to replace this router with one that supports gigabit.

I had a Linksys Router that did very well for six years. This model is fairly inexpensive and very easy to set up. I meets my needs very well and so far works perfectly.

Our old router finally went out after 6 years. This was easy to get up and running and performance is much better. We have 10 devices connected nearly all the time.

Great device that was easy to setup and signal strength was great. 2-story house and not a problem with signal strength at all.

I am not a super tech, so I can't tell you all of the amazing features of this product, but simply this: I was able to install it and make it work very quickly. The directions were clear and it works throughout the house with multiple devices. I was able to create a guest password for visitors, which I didn't realize was a feature until I was going through the set up. Very satisfied with my purchase!

I recently moved my office to another floor...far away from our old wireless router. My old router just wasn't cutting it and so I picked this one up. I am very familiar with networking and this one is incredible easy to set up. It took me less then 5 minutes to get everything dialed in completely. I also picked up a new USB wireless adapter (Linksys AE2500 Dual-Band Wireless-N USB Adapter) and it works great with that as well. 100% connectivity time through all our devices and Netflix/amazon prime stream great on it. I have never had to reboot it once in the past month, so hopefully that continues. If I had one negative to say is that it's sort of a odd roundish flat shape...so you can't really stack/rack it well. My past routers were a little more stacking friendly, but that's being nit picky .

Very happy with router, quick and easy setup. It did lock up/freeze a couple times which required a reboot but since then it has performed very well and suits my needs. The interface is clean and user friendly and operates without problems. The mobile app is too basic and needs more functions but otherwise works well and as intended.

I am no tecchie by any means, so I had no idea I was supposed to replace/upgrade our routers every couple of years. After numerous calls to the internet provider with no success, I went to BestBuy to see if I could buy a booster to help with our speed issues and help with areas of our home lacking strong service. The customer service rep was very knowledgeable and asked when was the last time I replaced our router,- umm, never, (it was at least six years old). He advised us to get a new router and it would solve our issues. I was skeptical, but he was confident that it would solve our problems and he even told me to come back and see him if it didn't correct the issues. Well, he was right. With the kids tablets, five phones and our laptops, we have had great success with this router. We have a 5000 sq, ft home, and no issues anywhere with a weak connection - the signal is great everywhere.

I like the features of this router out of the box such as the Dual Band Connectivity (2.4GHZ and 5GHZ) and the Guest Password feature. The setup of the router via the CD-ROM and Manual were very efficient and seamless. If you go into the router advanced settings, you will find a ton of security features and additional features to make your web browsing and downloads faster.

For the price, this router has extremely fast speeds and was very easy to set up and use. It had been a few years since I replaced my router but I was really glad I did. This router was very easy to set up and my network is now working at its actual speed thanks to this router.

This is one of those routers that can be setup very easily with the help of the software that comes with it (it can also be downloaded from the Linksys web site). The range is good for a device with internal antenna. The speed is very good since it has true dual-band data transfer.

This router is easy to setup! Follow the prompts on the disc that comes with it and you are set. I highly recommend to split your connections between both bands, remember this is dual band router and will work best if not all the devices are running of the same band which is the awesome part of owning a dual band! Faster speeds all around! Range is good on this unit we have a 1 story 4 bedroom house and have no problems connecting in each room including the outside perimeter. Must have unless you are running more than 6 devices or need the fastest connection possible, for that a AC1750 router would be best.

I have the fastest internet that charter offers (30 Mbps) and with my old router, I still didn't think that it was very fast. Well, that was because my router wasn't capable of performing at the speed I was paying for. The Lynksus allows my girlfriend and I too connect as many devices as we want without losing speed on any single device. At one point I was downloading at 3.7 MBps and still had a flawless four bar connection on my call of duty for xbox 360. And for those who don't know 1 MBps is equal to 8 Mbps, so pay attention to the "b" when looking at internet speed. Also, I topped out at 4.2 MBps download speed with just my pc connected (thats faster than what I'm paying for). Super simple setup, and great price for this level of performance.

I used to have an old Linksys wireless router that had to be reseted once in a while, and dropping or not delivering a good signal to one of our bedrooms, so I decided to get this one. The setup was very easy, it was just a matter of running the CD of the device, run a firmware update and follow the instructions. Once you have your network with a password it also give you the option to have a Guest access (the network looks like its open, but once you use you're browser to navigate it sends you to the router site where you have to enter a password to be able to navigate, useful when you have friends that want to access your network). The signal was strong enough that we didn't have any problems with streaming video from the device that we had on the bedroom and signal was still good outside the house. We had someone watching Netflix, someone using a laptop browsing the internet and someone playing games online in a console at the same time and nobody notice any problems or lag on their connections. I will definetly recommend this wireless router for someone that wants a good wifi signal in a small to medium size house.

This is a very good router for the price. Easy to setup using the software you can download. Speed is good but the range is just acceptable. I wish it would come with external antenna so that I could hook-up my active antenna booster.

We had an old wifi unit. We picked this one up and it was super easy to set up! It allows for guest to connect so they don't use your wifi and we are quite pleased with how fast it is, streaming Hulu and it Netflix is now a breeze
