This answer is probably coming too late, but yes, it will. I use mine with a Netgear router. Any 5ghz wifi network should work fine (unless it's really new and set to ax/WiFi 6/6e-only, since the RE9000 only has a/b/g/n/ac.)

Please try again later.Hi, Obliver, The Linksys RE9000 has a dedicated backhaul and by default, the range extender will detect your 5 GHz network to use as the dedicated backhaul connection. If your network does not support 5 GHz Wi-Fi, you can choose the 2.4 GHz as a shared backhaul connection. You may send us an email at [email protected] for further assistance.
