“I do not have an ethernet connection on my laptop, only wifi. Can I set up the router through wifi?? Or do I have to be hardwired into the router? If I need to be hooked in directly to the router I will need to buy a usb ethernet adapter.”

Hi, Paulyd. Yes, you can set this Linksys EA3500 router wirelessly, but we still recommend that you install it hardwired to your computer for you to be able to configure it properly. Also, you no longer need to buy an Ethernet adapter because there's already one available inside bundled with the whole unit.
