I have a disappointing Dish wireless capability. I purchased the Linksys EA3500-NP Wireless-N Gigabit Smart Router and improved my connection from 12 Mbps to an average of 75 Mbps. I am very pleased with my purchase.

I picked up this router from BB store along with the modem. Went to comcast, activated my account and went through the setup myself at home. Setup is super easy. Range of wifi is good enough for an average area. Speed has been great without any drops so far. It is a dual band router and synchronizes both bands to give optimal bandwidth. so far i am happy with my purchase and it is doing what it is meant to do.

We very easy to setup with security using the included disk. Speed is good. Range is sufficient for my needs. Like the ability to setup a guest network. Like the downloadable Android app. Parental controls are the only disappointment. It is essentially all or nothing access and there is no way to control time usage. Not that i have found.

This router was super easy to set up, I bought it to help extend the range of Wifi signal around the house - specifically to reach the grannie flat we had built adjacent to our main house. Before the router we had one bar and sometimes no signal in the flat. With the signal we now have 4 bars, Very pleased.

Ridiculously easy to set up; Very fast performance

I really struggled with whether to get an AC router or save some $$, since my newer MacBook Pro is wireless AC compatible. My cheap side prevailed, and I primarily needed the ethernet features of the router to network an old printer (HP laserjet 4 plus). Besides, I plug the laptop into ethernet at my desk. After letting the enclosed installation CD do ALL of the work, I still expected relatively slow wireless throughput. I used speedtest.net to discover that I was getting EXACTLY THE SAME speed down and up (around 90mbps down, 12mbps up) with my Xfinity internet and Surfboard 6141 cable modem as I got without the router installed! And when I disconnected the ethernet and ran just the wireless-n wifi, I was getting ALMOST as fast with about 2% speed loss on the download at 88/12. Then I realized that for me, an AC router would have produced no benefit because it can't run faster than ethernet. What I didn't know is that Linksys includes an excellent remote application (free through their website) which lets you reach the network and use an attached USB drive as an FTP server. I am VERY happy with this purchase, and until XFINITY service exceeds 100mbps in my area, I have no reason to get a faster router.

I bought this router to replace a 5 - 6 tear old Asus router which was unable to give me the internet speed for which I was paying. Decided on this one over a similar Netgear product. The setup was very easy! I was expecting to spend at least an hour re-configuring my network, however the software included had me up between 10 and 15 minutes. What I really like is the application that you can download, which lets you manage your network remotely. The improvement in speed was immediately noticeable after I had completed the setup and allows me to finally take full advantage of the speeds for which I am paying. Overall it's been a very good and affordable router and I would recommend it anyone that is looking for a good mid-level router.

I bought this to replace a Netgear D600 that was having problems maintaining a connection with my Samung phones. I was concerned that the issue might be the phones, since I also have 2 Motorola phones, an iPad and an AppleTV device that rarely had connection issues. Setup was quick and easy, and would probably have been even easier if I had used the install disc that came with the device. I have not had any issues with dropped or failed connections since installing this. The device has settings that can be configured to make this a repeater, if that is what you are looking for, but I don't need this option so I can't comment on its performance there.

Good N Router for Multiple devices in a small Home

I used to have an old Dlink (not very old) router with which I have had no complaints but I recently happened to upgrade my modem to DOCSIS 3.0 and internet connections to a higher tier so thought why not upgrade my router too and found this one on sale. The installation is very much straight forward and easy-peasy. The smart wifi capability is nice touch with which you can manage a lot of stuff about your router from any device any where. The good thing about it is it can handle a lot of devices (multiple laptops, smart phones, tablets and game boxes) with out any trouble. But I have experienced connectivity issues especially on laptops and the connection was getting idle/limited or no connectivity status very often. Did some research online and changed 'Channel' from auto to one specific number and since then it is kind of stable (Need to test more). I do not know the exact reason for the issue, may be the phone(cordless) frequency interference or something else. Over all it is a good router with better performance than the old generation ones, especially for these trending days of every one having smartphones and PCs, Tabs of their own and all family members wants connection to internet on all the devices. The range is good for a medium home size, good connecting speeds even I am far away from the router. If I haven't had the connectivity issue probably it would have been a 5 star device.

Bought this for my friends daughter who just got her first apartment. It's super easy to set up and supports both 2.4 and 5 GHz bands. It has a lot of features that she will never need. Gamer or Netflix? Perfect router. Why are you spending hundreds for wireless bandwidth with the max you are going to get from your ISP is only 75Mbs. You want a reliable connection? Go wired. I did that for her and her Netflix and Wii are super stable now.

I used this wireless router to replace an old Linksys WRT router. I get MUCH better coverage with this router. Setup was very straightforward. And it has a nice graphical display of connected devices. I typically have about 25 devices connect to this router and have not had any problems with it including Wireless Printers, Android Phones, Android Tablets, Laptops, XBox One, Wii, a Nook e-readers, a Smart TV and a Chromecast device The GUEST wireless is a nice feature, but I wish I could assign it a unique SSID instead of simply GUEST-<main-SSID>.

The installer of my new high speed satellite internet sold me a wireless router made by a company I was not familiar with. It only lasted two months and completely failed . I had experience another Linksys router so I decided to go with this modelLinksys router. Compared to the previous Linksys router, this one was easier to install and set up. The signal and connection speed to our computers are noticeably improved since I installed the Linsys router.

It was easy to install and set up which was one of the major purchase decisions in buying this product. I also had familiarity with a previous Linksys router and had never experienced any problems with it. Ease of installation, reliability and the product availability (on the shelf and on sale) all made this an easy buying decision at Best Buy.

Look, I have been linked with Linksys networking equipment since before they were purchased by Cisco. Recent security issues with my previous model forced me to upgrade to this model and though I kicked and screamed, I am much happier for the effort. This thing is amazing! From the increased speed, to the easy to integrate mobile app, the to available guest network; this device is much more than an upgrade, it is a sea change. I would highly recommend this model, whether you think you should update your existing equipment, or are being forced to. I have zero complaints for this one.

Linksys makes easy to use, reliable routers. This router is extremely easy to configure, it only took me a few minutes to set this little guy up. It also has great range, my router is on the middle floor and I have zero issues streaming Netflix in my bedroom upstairs.

Needing to replace anything can be a hassle, so my computer savvy son and I went to Best Buy and found exactly what my husband and I needed. There were multiple choices, with varying pricing. With my sons help, and offers of help from Best Buy staff, we were able to narrow down the search and come out on top with the perfect item to meet our at home network needs. Thank you to my son and Best Buy!
