QuestionI am getting ready to lay out my system and was wondering how far apart each node can be from each other and if placing the node in a cabinet restricts the performance?

- Answer The nodes can be quite far away from each other but the app will tell you if its getting a good signal or not while setting them up. Also you will want them out so they can get a good signal so I wouldn't recommend putting them in a cabinet unless the app tells you its getting a good signal.

- Answer Hi. The Linksys Velop MX4000 Series nodes have one USB 3.0 port for a USB storage device but, virtual printing is not supported.

QuestionI purchased the AC1300 3 pack. Still have one TV dead spot, looking to add a node. If I purchase an AX4200 for use as a primary, using the 1300s as secondary, will I improve speed and range as I am using additional bands in the primary?

QuestionHi, I have IoT appliances viz. cameras, doorbell, light switches, bulbs, etc. that require 2.4 GHz band. Will they connect to the common (SSID) or do I have to set up a separate 2.4 GHz SSID? Thanks.

- Answer I was able to add many 2.4 GHz devices to the common SSID while my phone was operating on 5 GHz band. This is one of the supposed differences with AX (or WiFi 6) and AC. AC operates at 5 GHz, so your phone will connect to the fastest available channel, but the 2.4 GHz devices cannot follow. AX will operate on both 5 GHz and 2.4 GHz so your 2.4 devices can follow your 5 GHz devices. However, if you do run into problems, you can specify separate SSIDs between the 2.4 and 5 GHz bands.

QuestionHas anyone using this system and setup had any issue with thier Nest Smart Thermostats? I purchased the ORBI AX in April and had to return it because within hours it drained the batteries of the devices that trickle charge from the heating system.
