- Answer Hi, andyak. The Velop plugin mesh extender only works with the Velop system. Any other Linksys extender will work with your AT&T router.

- Answer AC1300 is an extender to a Velop mesh network only, not a full router. AC1900 is a router.

- Answer No. This works with the AC2200, AC4400, AC6600 Velop mesh network. None of those is Wifi 6 ready. There is a separate Velop family for Wifi 6.

- Answer Hi, Eric. You may need manually add the Mesh extender MAC address. You may refer to the web UI's device list and check the MAC address indicated on the device info/details for the devices MAC address, then add this if the MAC Filter set to 'Allow'. Questionwe just bought the Linksys AC2200 Tri-Band Mesh WIFI 5 Router. our Playstation 4 is 2.4 GHz. if we buy this AC1300 and connect it in the room where the PS4 is at will it improve the WIFI and prevent lagging?

QuestionI have a Velop tri band system (AC6600). I am currently using 3 nodes and aware I cannot add a fourth. Does the Extender count as a node or can I use it just to extend a node?

- Answer Hi, Tammy. We’re quite confused as you can add more than three Velop nodes in your network. You can add as many Velop nodes to your home as you’d like, however, you need to consider your home's size and layout when figuring out the optimal number of nodes you need. - Answer Hi. That is correct. As if now, there are no plans for a Velop Mesh Extender that is compatible with Wi-Fi 6.
