Hi. The Linksys WRT3200ACM router could provide you better wireless range and coverage, perfect for a very large household. It could go beyond 150 feet away, however, metal objects, appliances, thick walls, and mirrors might cause signal interference. Also, proper positioning of the antennas would help in boosting the range.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. In my house, the 2.4GHz band provides full signal strength at around 50 feet after going through two walls, one of which contains a large metal furnace. After 60 plus feet, and three walls, the signal drops to 2 out of 4 curved bars. Still good. The 5GHz band provides full strength reception to a TV about 30 feet away that also goes through the same two walls described earlier.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. My home is 2500sf. Two floors. Several streaming devices. It does allow you to give priority to devices. No lag or dead spots.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have a 1650 sq. ft. house (3bed, 2 bath, 2 car garage), and it reaches everywhere in my house. I have mine in the livingroom which is close to the back door of my house. It will also reach out front down to about the end of the driveway, and it will reach to my back fence (which is about 30 feet from my back door).
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.SO FAR I DO MY ENTIRE HOUSE.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It's good, but not the greatest, if you want great range and great speed get Orbi, that's what I finally decided to stay with after trying several of the most advanced/expensive devices on the market.
