• I have a 4TB WD Passport on mine, works fine for both FTP and Media server. Haven't tried a bigger drive yet, but 4TB is a lot.

• Hi, SV. There's no actual limit for the maximum allowable size of the external hard drive that can be connected to the router, as long as the file is supported (e.g. NTFS and FAT32).
