“Can this camera work as a stand-alone? I am looking for a camera solution that has multiple, independent cameras that are viewable through an IOS and Android app. Does the Lorex app connect to the cameras or to the DVR to get the cameras' feeds? Thanks!”

Hello, This camera can only work with the LW2730 series monitors, and does not work as a standalone camera. Best Buy is carrying another model, the LNC226X which is outdoor rated, and is an IP camera which communicates on WiFi to your existing router, and can be viewed directly on iOS and Android devices with an app. Thanks, Lorex
