The AUTOMATIC PRO plugs into your car's OBD port under the dash (the place where mechanic's plug in to diagnose engine error codes). It's pretty unnoticeable for the most part.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. It plugs in the vehicle to the diognostic port. Usually don’t see it unless you are down low below the steering wheel in most vehicles.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. No, there is not an extension that I am aware of. The device is relatively compact, but will protrude if there is not room in the box. I had to cut away some of the plastic on my son's OBD box with a dremel for it to fit and still be able to close the latch. As far as concealing, no need to in my opinion. Just tell him him what it is and that it is required to stay plugged in and operating if he is driving your car under your insurance. The thing it is good for is the OBD feature. If you are tracking your kid's activities secretly, then that is a whale of an issue in itself.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Yes you have to plug it into your car. They make a cable that allows you to hide plug if your Ins connection is easily seen.
