the service provider is "GREAT CALL". the network provider is VERIZON. You do not have to sign a contract. The features vary with the packages offered and are at different price points. You can select the level of service with the features you want at the price you like; service is paid on a monthly basis. There are many different plans, some of which offer emergency notification services (911) for the elderly. The phone has a good camera.

You can just sign up to have payments taken out monthly out of your checking account. The camera is great and there is Call 5 available were you push a red button and someone will call help for you. You should go in on Jitterbug webste to check it out. I'm pretty sure she would be able to use it- there is also a old type flip phone available too. Check it out.
