Yes you can. Mine was bought new and unlocked. Put my H2o Wireless SIM with Contacts stored on it. MicroSD with pictures into caddy. Slid them in, power on and could see my GSM network phone#, all contacts, pictures and make a phone call since my SIM was active. Did a factory reset later, configured Advanced mode and looks same as my former Samsung Galaxy S8+. Got three updates from H2o once gave them my IMEI. It is now running VoLTE 4G and works much better than old phone. Better specs.

I just transferred my Tracfone to a Jitterbug Flip Phone by placing a new Verizon Sim in the phone. Then I went to Tracfone website, logged into my account and found the place to enter the info for the SIM and IMEI in the new phone. Did so, turned the phone off and back on as instructed and viola!! I now have a Jitterbug flip phone to use with my Tracfone account! YES! It works!

He had a Jitterbug flip phone that he bought a couple years ago still around. I transferred the SIM card from the cheap Alcatel burner she had bought him on a whim and it works perfectly! If we'd have known that we woudn't have bought the burner in the first place. Tello is about the cheapest service there is...
