There is no easy way to increase volume. There are not switches or buttons for that. The only thing you can do is call Customer Support and ask them to download the latest software, and run any other trouble shooting they can. I had the same problem with 3 devices replaced under warranty. The speaker and microphone ports got fouled with particles probably from my parent smoking. These reduced the volume to nearly zero on the Lively device over the course of 2-3 months. We finally had to cancel service because devices continued to fail in this way. Of course, they charged us for nearly 4 weeks of service when we cancelled. They don't prorate the final month's billing.
