Is this a one time fee or monthly? null

Apparently yes there is a monthly service fee. However, it doesn’t say how much it is. The advertisement and Bestbuy item make it seem like the 2yr plan is $29.99. Kind of shady. From the fine print - “Monthly service fee excludes government taxes or assessment surcharges and may change. Lively Health and Safety Services are not included in Talk, Text and Data plans. Valid credit or debit card required for monthly service.“

Please do not be fooled. This is 29.99 per month with a 150.00 early termination fee. You don’t see info until the very end. Be careful.

DO NOT RELY ON BESTBUY REP. They will say it is a 1 time fee because it is technically a 1 time fee collected by BestBuy. In the checkout process you have to sign up with GreatCall and give them your credit card information separate from the purchase. This is fo the ongoing monthly $29.99 fee. So I called a Rep at GreatCall and they stated that it's actually a locked-in plan for monthly payments of 29.99 for 2 years with an early termination fee. The termination fee depending on the watch you get is the amount you actually save on the watch with the GreatCall discount. So if you are saving 150 or 200 that will be your early termination fee.

I asked a Best Buy chat agent this question, and I was told that it was a one-time payment.
