    • Answer Apparently yes there is a monthly service fee. However, it doesn’t say how much it is. The advertisement and Bestbuy item make it seem like the 2yr plan is $29.99. Kind of shady. From the fine print - “Monthly service fee excludes government taxes or assessment surcharges and may change. Lively Health and Safety Services are not included in Talk, Text and Data plans. Valid credit or debit card required for monthly service.“

To check your watch is in range with your iPhone to connect to the Urgent Response, you can check if the red phone icon appears on the top of the Watch Screen.
