• A:Answer Hello. The HDMI adapter simply adds a spdif/optical output to the PS5. It should not affect any features of the headsets.

Q: QuestionIs the hdmi cord that comes with this an hdmi 2.1 cord and are the ports on the adapter hdmi 2.1? Also, will this still allow us to use 3D audio on PS5?

Q: QuestionWill u lose the ability of hdmi2.1 4K 120? Ps5 is hdmi 2.1 my tv is hdmi 2.1 I guess my question is with this in the middle will that be affected? Also does using the Astro a40 tr without MixAmp on ps5 affect sound quality? Or is this just game/voice bal.

• A:Answer Steve probably has this answered by now, but I would like to add my feedback. When using this device I lose 4K ability. I have a 4K, 120hz lg monitor with 2.1 hdmi. It drops to 1080p/120 hz when I use this pass through extractor. So disappointing.
