• This camera doesn't have any motion detection capability. It is designed for basic use in conferences, recordings and web chats. The arlo or d-link cameras would be your best bet.

• Yes, if you can find a place to hide it, provided you wish to do so. The cam, as sold, is not wireless. But many security cams are not wireless, either. The motion detection is great. I use mine with Win 7 Ultimate on a 64 bit computer and OS. The picture quality is terrific.
