Yes, all iPad functions work the same with or without the keyboard attached.

Please try again later.Hello - yes they do - if you want a laptop-style experience (especially with function keys that the Apple Keyboard lacks) this is a well constructed case that works very well. Even better is that the software knows that you are using an external keyboard and will offer suggestions at the bottom of the screen for you to touch that are much more user-friendly and well thought out compared to using an android or Windows tablet. The iPad is a bit hard to remove from this case though so don't plan on routinely taking it out as I think it might wear the case out and lead to scratches on your iPad.
