• The only way you can use the vertical view on the iPad Pro with this keyboard is if you fold the keyboard to the back of the iPad. It's keyboard is meant more for a horizontal use like a laptop.

• No just horizontal because it's the only why you can connected with the keyboard same holds true for the Apple Keyboad , If you want to do Portrait you will need to get a Bluetooth keyboard
