• I can touchtype on mine and do not have to hold the keys for any length of time in order to register a key press, perhaps your unit is defective. I have not heard of a keyboard that has adjustable key pressure, you may need to try devices from other manufacturers to find one that is to your liking. Apple also makes a keyboard for the 12.9" iPad Pro.
