“Where is the $20 of additional value in the ERGO M575 compared to the M570?”

The extra value is the addition of Bluetooth connectivity. The M575 provides Bluetooth for devices that do not have a USB port in addition to the usb receiver for those devices that do not have Bluetooth.

Hello. The M575 is upgraded in a few ways. While the M570 uses a USB wireless receiver, the M575 can use the USB or Bluetooth to connect to your computer (making it compatible with some newer computer without the use of USB adapters). Also, the M575 has an optical sensor capable of 2000dpi (M570 has a laser 1000dpi sensor). The M575 was modeled after the MX Ergo and is a little bit more ergonomic than the M570. Whether these upgrades are worth $20 is up to you!

The M575 works both wireless (requires the included dongle and a USB port on the computer) and Bluetooth. The M570 is only wireless.

In reality, I could not tell any difference. I use multiple M570s and recently bought a M575 for a new setup and it worked and felt the same.

I functions with all of the versions of Window 10 64bit Pro and up to date software that I use. The M570 didn't.
