I buy Amazon Basics batteries. I work at least 40 hours a week and never turn my mouse off using the switch. I change batteries once every 6-9 months. I have an older M570 downstairs, for personal use. It's also never switched off, but not used as much as my upstairs mouse. I might change those once a year.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Meghan, The battery life is all over the place. I've had Duracell batteries last over a year and I've had them last less than two weeks. I've had Energizer batteries last 3 weeks to 7 months. Heck, I've had Harbor Freight batteries last from a month to 10 months. So it is all over the place. With as often as you replace batteries in computer equipment, I usually spend $5 at Harbor Freight to get like 3 dozen and when they run out, they run out. $5 is better than the $12-18 that Duracell and Energizer charge.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later. This unit only uses one AA battery and it lasts me six months or more. It has an on-off switch, but I leave mine on all the time. After about six months, I just replace the one AA battery and it's good to go.
