The software is pretty good and allows you to customize many aspects of the mouse. The Logitech G Pro is also an excellent gaming mouse and would be great for competitive play. It is a relatively small mouse that is best suited for small hands, however, I have large hands and still really like it. Mouse size is a personal preference sort of thing.
