Yes, you can change the color to red or many other colors but need to download the Logitech software from their website- www.logitech.com. The software is pretty good and allows you to customize many aspects of the mouse. The Logitech G Pro is also an excellent gaming mouse and would be great for competitive play. It is a relatively small mouse that is best suited for small hands, however, I have large hands and still really like it. Mouse size is a personal preference sort of thing.

And it is a great mouse for competitive gaming, especially with the ability to add weight and customize DPI settings. You can really fine tune this mouse to your liking.
