If you're meaning to set it up near the left ear piece then yes it swings up for convenient, out of the way, placement.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.The microphone boom actually slides inside the left earcup for storage. It is flexible and can bend any direction to fit it to your mouth, but it does not swing up like the mic on the Logitech G35.

It also retracts into the ear piece so just a little piece of it is sticking out. When you're not using the microphone, you don't even know it's there.
