• If you're meaning to set it up near the left ear piece then yes it swings up for convenient, out of the way, placement.

• Yes it does swing up parallel with the over head strap. It has limited down position, close to as seen in the picture.

• Yes, it does swing upward. The arm also has a bit of flex and can be adjusted to bring it closer to your face. I ended up buying a second set for work... They're a pretty decent set of headphones.

• The microphone boom actually slides inside the left earcup for storage. It is flexible and can bend any direction to fit it to your mouth, but it does not swing up like the mic on the Logitech G35.

• It doesn't really swing upward, but it is very flexible and will bend in any direction and stay there. Very Nice. It also retracts into the ear piece so just a little piece of it is sticking out. When you're not using the microphone, you don't even know it's there.
