“So does it have 1 or 2 cords because ,my computer has only 1 headphone port. Will I need to buy more things if so I'm not interested.”

The headset came with a USB adapter where you plug in the 2 cables. Then you plug it into the USB port.

I just found out the hard way that it has one cord with TWO inputs on it. One for mic and one for audio.

it has 2 input pluhgs technically since it has one for the audio and one for the microphone BUT it should be noted that it comes with a usb dongle included which makes it just 1 cord. If you're only interested in plugging it into a 3.5mm audio jack you can do so but the microphone wont function and there are cheap headphones out there with both audio and microphone in 1 3.5mm jack. but if you have 1 free usb port you're pretty much golden. TL:DR- anything you'd need to buy is included in the box. (1 usb dongle)

It comes with an adapter that allows you to plug in the two cords (microphone and sound) into a USB connection. That might work for you...
