“I have a PS4, rarely game on a pc. If I want to have the 7.1 surround sound, will I have to use the USB adapter/gaming software for the surround sound? Or use a splitter?”

• You can plug the USB dongle into the PS4 and it should recognize it. It only does Stereo when it is plugged into the PS4 because it uses software on the PC to emulate 7.1
