It seems to be normal for me when using a rechargeable battery this mouse has the worst battery life ever. Using Logitech Gaming Software you can choose power save mode, but that doesn't seem to help all that much. I have used a Energizer Lithium AA battery several times and the battery life was improved to the point where it lasted at least one week of heavy use. It's been a while so I don't remember exactly how long it lasted. I usually leave it plugged into the USB, but it's nice to have the wireless option.

Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.This doesn't occur with my Logitech G700s mouse. I can use it at least for 2 weeks without having to charge it. I use my computer everyday for some hours. I suggest you contact Logitech because something is not working correctly in your mouse
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.Depends on use. idle I get a few days. However I just plug it in when not in use and unplug when i'm using it and so far i get hours and hours of use...not sure about a whole day of use without charging.
