• Yes, it has optional backlighting. That lighting can be varied by intensity (4 levels, I just use the lowest level), and you have the option to just light up the wasd and arrow keys, or all keys except those, or both.

• According to PCMAG, all the keys (except for the macros) have 5 different levels of brightness; handy if you are using this on a laptop so you can completely turn them off to save battery.
