No you certainly can not save macros to onboard memory. Also Logitech loves to create support tickets and the ghost you.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.By default, the G keys are set to F1-F5. To change or assign macros, you need Logitech G Hub. After you've downloaded and installed it, it'll attempt to update all your Logitech G series hardware currently connected (must be connected via the included USB cable). After that, "Meet" your devices. After your introduction, you'll be taken to a screen that looks something like the included pictures. On the left-hand side of the screen, click the box with the plus sign ([ + ]), where it will show assignments. There, you can assign keyboard shortcuts, remap keys, etc.

If you haven't already, you'll want to download our G Hub software here https://www.logitechg.com/en-us/innovation/g-hub.html. This will allow you to customize your keyboard. From the main G Hub screen, you'll want to click on your G915. Then go to Assignments (plus plus sign in the square on the left side) - Macros - search for the macro you'd like to set - assign to your G keys! If you need further assistance, feel free to reach out to our support team here https://support.logi.com/hc/en-us/requests/new?ticket_form_id=360000621393. - Maggie from Logitech G
