No - it is a IR type remote and needs to "see" the components it is controlling. I believe you may want to look for RF type remotes.

The Harmony 665 10-Device Universal Remote is an IR (Infrared) remote control, meaning your remote has to have a direct line of sight with the IR receiver on the device you want to control, so it won't work thru walls no. You'd have to look at RF (Radio Frequency) remotes such as the Harmony Elite or the Companion which include a HUB, but then again, you'd be able to control Smart devices over RF, but not all TV's and devices are Smart, so some might require the use of the included IR Blaster and direct line of sight to control.
