I'm not sure which button you mean, There are four buttons at the top that control individual devices, buttons around the edge of the screen that activate the activity shown in the square beside it on the screen. The four color-coded buttons below the screen activate individual activities on your cable or satellite box, some set-up automatically while others have to be programmed.
