Yes, this model does fix this issue. I’ve been able to turn on all of my devices without having to hold the remote exactly pointed toward my entertainment center.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I have the 665 model and it has to be pointed directly at the sound bar and it takes several tries to activate the devices. Turning off is also a problem.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.I had a Logitech prior to this one that had that same issue and this one appears to be somewhat improved. I can now just aim at the TV rather than at the "boxes" to the right (receivers, etc) and the functions work. And I can actually be further away from it (our kitchen is open to our den where the TV is and I can actually now point in the direction of the TV from the kitchen and change channels.) Hope this helps and works for you as well!
