It depends on the door and the devices signal technology. If using a non-line of sight signal from the remote, you are probably fine. If using line of sight signal and a solid wood door (no glass), you will probably have issues.

If that’s critical for you, you might want to look at an Amazon FireTVCube. It was on sale yesterday at $85, less than the Harmony and you get a streaming box as well. It includes an IR emitter built into the Cube itself and a second emitter with a cable that’s about 10 - 12 feet long and plugs into the back of the Cube. But make sure it supports your devices. It won’t work for a lot of older AV equipment.
