Did you download the software and set the remote up for the devices you want to control? If not, the remote will do nothing. Look at the instructions that came with the remote. Use the software to select the devices you want to control. Then, connect the remote to your computer with the supplied USB cable. Then, you sync the remote to the software. The software will download all of your device commands to the remote. What's nice about the software is that it saves your settings to the cloud. As long as you know your user ID and password (that you chose when loading the software) you can copy the device commands to a new logitech remote in the future. You can use the software to tailor the remote for specific functions or create macros. It may take a few attempts to get everything the way you want. If this sounds like more than you bargained for, perhaps a simpler remote will be preferable. Good luck.
