I just purchased an LG Smart TV and when you program the LG with this remote, accessing the smart tv apps is as easy as pushing a button on the remote. I do it every single evening, i.e. I watch some "regular" tv and then switch, with a push of a button, to the smart apps like Netflix, Amazon Prime, Hulu, Disney +, etc.

We have a Samsung smart TV, but I suspect that the functionality is similar.

You will need to down load the "MyHarmony" app to a computer and program the device. Logitech has a very large library of function that are very easily programmed.

The if you have a number of devices, the app can be a little funky. After a point, the learning curve can get steep.
