• Yes, if they're powered by the same amplifier unit and if that amp's remote control supports 2 different speaker zones. It can't do anything more than the original factory remote did.

• Hello, the 665 is an IR remote control that can control up to 10 devices. You must have line of sight in order for the IR to work, but it does not matter where the devices are located.
