The new harmony is not intuitive - have to go through 3-6 screens sometimes to reach commands for my LG smart TV - and it can be difficult to remember how to traverse these multiple screens needed to get to what you want. In other words there is an enormous learning curve. To become proficient, plan on 4-6 hours of trial and error - and spoiler alert - write it all down or enter the most frequent command sequences into your tablet or phone because if you don't use a given sequence for a number of days - good luck on getting it right again. On a positive note, the back-lit screen is easy to read in the dark theater setting that we watch TV in. I don't have a Denon receiver - I use a Bluetooth LG soundbar and you can pair the soundbar with the LG TV to control both as to power on and off, and the Harmony then also becomes able to change the volume and input from TV. We have a Sony DVD and you can also pair the DVD player with the TV and the soundbar to create a command set that allows fairly easy control of these 3 although you have to rotate through several screens sometimes to find what you want. We have Roku built into our Smart TV so that's different than a separate device. Changing screens to find the appropriate screen command to match the individual commands for any one of 3 devices in a "group" can get tedious so I hesitate to recommend doing it with 4 in a group. This is not a good alternative to the limited and not-so-useful LG "magic remote". I bought the Harmony to try to get around the magic remote's limits (no fast forward or rewind keys for example), but have found the Harmony not as easy to use as my Logitech Bluetooth K600 keyboard that has a mouse pad, keyboard and all the essential videos command keys that I need.
