While it is hard to see in the photographs and on the remote itself, there are letters associated with each number on the keypad, Number 2 is ABC, 3 is DEF and so on. In general it is a single press for the first letter, double for the second and triple for the third. Some subscription services bring up a virtual keyboard on the screen. You navigate with the "D" pad on the remote. Left, right, up, down to select your entry and then the ENTER or OKAY key to enter it. This remote can do anything that any other remote can do, plus a few more.

Depending on the input menu that comes up when you bring up Hulu, it may just be using your arrow keys to choose letters and numbers. Here's a link to the Harmony 665 support page that will walk you through setup: https://support.myharmony.com/en-us/665. - Richard from Logitech
