“I am in no way a techy....will this remote solve the problem of having one remote for the tv, one remote for roku, net flix, etc. And changing from one input to another?”

In theory it will do all of that. However, I personnally was not able to do it. It requires you enter the exact model numbers to all of your devices and I had long ago thrown away the manuals and could not find the model numbers on the devices themselves.
Sorry, there was a problem. Please try again later.It should. The remote is completely programmable using your desktop or laptop computer with most devices. I use it to control my LG TV, Playstation, Arris Cable box and Bose sound system. The website is pretty user friendly.

Logitech has streamlined the setup process by prompting questions on your computer, having you input the tv model, receiver, cable, etc. and you plug your remote into the computer to download info. It has gotten much easier than previous iterations.

As far as Netflix - I have a new Samsung smart TV and I have an option set up for that so it will turn on just the TV and my Receiver and I access Netflix, GoogleTV amazon prime all off of that option (one note about this is that I did need to have an optical cable hook up from my TV output to the receiver IN for sound - I used the CD Slot).
