• It works on IR. You can purchase an IT blaster for $35 and use that in cabinet. I have 3 set-up’s in my house and use blasters inside cabinets for all. No issues!!

• The Harmony 950 is an IR remote. If you're wanting to use it with devices that will be behind cabinet doors, walls, or in other rooms I would highly recommend investing in the Harmony Elite. The Elite comes with the remote, Smart Hub (for WiFi devices and app support), and 2 mini-IR blasters for those devices in the cabinet.
