A: Yes. You can pair a new remote to your existing hub as long as the new remote is designed to work with a hub. The Elite obviously is. You pair the two devices in the app.
A: The Harmony 950 is an IR remote. The 900 uses RF signal, so the RF module that came with your Harmony 900 would not work with the 950. If you want the closed cabinet capability, you will need the Harmony Hub.
Q: Will this remote (Logitech 950) work well with Apple TV 4K and Direct TV Now?
A: It works great with my Apple 4K TV, and although I do not have Direct TV, it works with my Comcast and Roku streaming stick. It gives me access to both AM and FM on my receiver and even accessed my jukebox. I wouldn’t have been able to program it myself, but the Geek Squad came out and did it.
A: Yes. The remote has three screens that you scroll through. You will get a numeric key pad.
A: You have to set up a my harmony account on a PC. In the remote control box there is a cable. You hook the cable to the PC and the remote and through their website you pick the equipment (TV, DVD, soundbar, etc) that you own. You also pick the activities that you want (Watch TV, play DVD, listen to music, etc). It then loads all the stuff that you picked onto the remote through the cable.
A: Yes you will just have to program the remote to just do stuff in bedroom. And then just program the tv in liveing room .
