Turn lights on and off? Can you use this device to turn the LIFX 1000 bulbs, On and Off?

You should be able to control the lights via the Harmony app or the companion remote of you connect the bulbs to a smart hub or if you have the Harmony zwave extender. I have Cree bulbs connected to a SmartThings hub, and the Harmony hub also connected. The app and remote can control the bulbs without a problem.

Yes! I use it to do exactly that - among other things. The included remote has dedicated light buttons as well as brightness adjustment buttons. Recommended!

This will depend on the signal type those bulbs use. You may need the extension base that adds different frequencies such as ZigBee.

Yes, you can control your LIFX bulbs (on, off, dim) with the Harmony Home Hub and remote. We are using it on 6 LIFX 1000 BR30 to dim them when watching movies - super cool!

Once mapped, you just touch the button to turn on, press and hold to turn off, and use the +/- icons to dim. Cool part too is you can group your lights however you want.
