• If you go myharmony.com and select the "compatibly" button you can enter the make and model of any device and it will tell you if it's in the database. But speaking from personal experience (I was a home theater installer in a past life), there hasn't been many home theater type products that I've ran into that Harmonys won't control.

• Yes it is classified as a Mini-Player or Other Device since it is not simply a Blu-Ray player but has other features to control. Also, if functions do not work properly, you can always manually program them into the remote using the original manufacturers remote if you have it.
